Mr Tatenda Tembani
Managing Director
Mr. T. Tembani has over fifteen years of experience in the private security sector. He has so far spearheaded the transformation of VS Security from a small operation to a national agency with over ten branches nationwide. Mr. Tembani is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University Of Zimbabwe (UZ) plus an Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe diploma. He also holds a diploma in Projects Management. His main duties at the helm of VS Security involve setting long term strategic goals and mobilizing resources to ensure the smooth implementation of projects. He is a recipient of the Businessman of the year award (2015) courtesy of the Zimbabwe Business Awards (ZIBA). He is also a recipient of the Young Security Company Director of the year award, courtesy of the Zimbabwe Private Security Awards 2017
Mr John Chakwana
Operations Director
John brings to the VS Security team 12 years of experience in the security services industry from both the public sector in the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) and in the private security industry. In the ZNA, John’s career spanned 8 years which saw him rising to the rank of Captain.During his career in the National Army, John attained several qualifications which include, Regular Officers Cadet Course, Assault Pioneer Course, Troop
Leaders Course, Platoon Commanders Course and Driving & Maintenance Instructors Course. John retired from the Force with a good Service Medal to pursue opportunities in the private sector. John is a holder of a Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Security Management from the Zimbabwe Institute of Management. John has managed to transform the operations of VS Security from just ordinary operations to customer oriented operations.
Mr Lovemore Muzawazi
Finance Director
Mr. L. Muzawazi is a fully qualified accountant with experience in formulating and implementing financial strategies to support the company’s ambitious growth plans. He has a proven ability to constantly challenge and improve existing processes and systems. Mr Muzawazi has over 15 years of experience working in the private security industry. He is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ). He is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a holder of a Business Management Diploma.
Mr Joseph Muzawazi
Operations Manager
Joseph Muzawazi has over 13 years of experience. He is a hands on leader who is proactive and has experience working with a diverse group of people from different backgrounds. Joseph has a degree in development studies and certificate in risk and loss control management.
Takudzwa Tsakatsa
Finance Manager
Mr Takudzwa Tsakatsa reports directly to the company Finance Director and has managed to bring the much needed financial changes to the company ever since he joined VS Security.
Mr. Nigel Furusa
HR Manager
Degree in Human Resources management (GZU). Mr Furusa brings with him to VS Security experience having previously worked with some of the big corporates in Zimbabwe
Veralinne Willie
Business Development Manager
Veralinne Willie brings with her to the VS Security family over 10 years of experience in the private security industry (physical guarding and electronic security ). She has considerable experience in marketing and sales of security products and services. She holds a certificate in Marketing. She also holds a certificate in ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
