CCTV
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors. It differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly transmitted, though it may employ point to point (P2P), point to multipoint, or mesh wireless links. As a standard VS Security is an accredited installer, distributor and Technical Partner of Dahua and HIkivision CCTV products. They are internationally recognized and implemented product with installers in India, UK, The Caribbean Islands, South Africa, Zimbabwe and many other countries. They offer both analogue and IP (network) based CCTV systems with major projects worked on including Olympic Venues, Shanghai World Expo, Kremlin Palace, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and London
Access Control
As VS Security, in line with our vision of providing quality security solutions, we have adopted another strategic partnership with Impro , Hikivision and Dahua they offer both Proximity & Biometric Access Control systems. Proximity Access control systems are Access Control systems that employ the use of Pin Codes, cards and Tags when seeking authorization into access-controlled areas. Biometric Access Control systems are Access Control systems that employ the use of Fingerprints, facial or retinal features when seeking authorization into access-controlled areas.
Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
An Intruder Alarm is a mechanism which is used to detect, deter and alert when an intruder or unauthorized person has entered into a particular restricted area. These can be linked to external sources such as response teams via Radio Links.
Fire Detection and Suppression Alarms are the same as the Intruder alarms except for the Suppression aspect which then will entail extinguishant gases that are released in the zones that the fire has been detected. The fire suppression systems are mostly implemented in highly sensitive information storage areas like Records storage vaults and Server Rooms.
Electric Fence
Electric fence is made up of braided wire strands powered by an Energizer varying between 2000Volts and 10000Volts. The wires are also linked to a 30Watt Siren which enables the system to sound the siren when any of the 2 wires on the fence connect to each other while also creating an electric shock.
Automated and Boom Gate Technology
As another Access Control mechanism, Automated Sliding and Boom gates are another service that VS Security Offers. Our products are all supplied by Centurion Systems through the local agent Security Distributors.
Mantrap
A mantrap booth is a double or single booth that is used to control access into a building space by making use of beams and a booth controller as illustrated below. The mantrap booth can have many different options in terms of how the client can control the flow of traffic i.e. number of people in the booth at any given time, etc.
